AI Udaan syllabus · Week 6–9
Machine Learning Basics for Beginners in Nepal
Machine learning means teaching computers patterns from data — without hard-coding every rule. AI Udaan introduces ML types (supervised, unsupervised), scikit-learn, regression, classification, and real-world workflow over several weeks with assignments.
Types of machine learning
Supervised learning uses labeled examples (predict house price, detect spam). Unsupervised learning finds structure without labels (customer segments). AI Udaan covers both before deep learning in later weeks.
Tools and mindset
You work with scikit-learn for classic ML algorithms, evaluate errors, and understand when a model is useful vs overfit. This foundation supports TensorFlow neural networks in Weeks 13–14.
